Real Madrid manager José Mourinho continues to welcome more players back to preseason as his squad gradually returns to full strength. Los Blancos have already completed three weeks of training, but several key players were still unavailable after helping Spain win the FIFA Club World Cup less than a month ago.
That changes Monday, with another wave of first-team stars reporting to Real Madrid’s training complex in Valdebebas.
Vinícius, Bernardo Silva and Brahim join preseason
Bernardo Silva, Vinícius Júnior and Brahim Díaz have all reported for duty under Mourinho. As is customary on their first day back, the trio will undergo medical examinations before taking part in their first training sessions under the Portuguese coach.
For Mourinho, their arrival represents another important step as he prepares his squad for the start of the new LaLiga season.

The Brazilian winger is expected to hold talks with Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez as the two sides continue working toward a decision on his future. With just one year remaining on his current contract, Vinícius has a renewal offer on the table.
Bernardo Silva begins a new chapter
Bernardo Silva, one of Mourinho’s top transfer targets, will wear the Real Madrid jersey for the first time after turning down offers from both Barcelona and Atlético Madrid.
The club has already completed his LaLiga registration, with only the registration process for youngster Espí still pending.
Meanwhile, Brahim Díaz returns determined to convince Mourinho that he deserves an important role this season. Competition for attacking places remains fierce, leaving questions about his long-term future, but the Morocco international has made it clear he wants to stay at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Mourinho continues to welcome players back as he looks to have his full squad available for Real Madrid’s LaLiga opener against Espanyol on Aug. 22.
