Police search for ex-Premier League star after he is reported missing

  • Former Premier League midfielder Akos Buzsaky, 44, has been reported missing in his native Hungary for over a week, with local police currently conducting a search to locate him.
  • Championship club Queens Park Rangers, where Buzsaky made 125 appearances and scored 24 goals, issued a statement expressing deep concern and stating they are “praying he’s found safe and well”.
  • Plymouth Argyle, another of his former English teams, also voiced their concern over his disappearance and wished for his prompt safety.
